Day 1 of 110 | The First 48 Hours!
Today, August 8, 2024, is day 1 of 110 days of the first 48 pounds to lose.
However, for the next 48 hours, I am focused on fasting. Today consists of a 14-hour liquid fast which will be broken around lunchtime. At that time, if hungry, I will only consume vegetables.
My movement/exercise consists of 15 minutes breaks from my desk, every 2 hours. During the 15-minute breaks I stretch, and move around completing quick home projects like putting a load of laundry in the wash and the next 15-minute break may include putting that load in the dryer. All breaks include doing something for the dogs, no way I am escaping that!
I did get on the scale this morning and took a date-stamped picture for my records and I will also record my measurements because I want to keep track of my inches as I move forward. I will share both when I feel like it.
For the next 48 hours, I want to rest my digestive system. I started this morning with hot lime water. Check out the image below to see how this is beneficial. Because I was sick for the first several days of August, I think a process of elimination is needed but before anything else is activated, I want to let my system know that I am not attempting to shock it into a new lifestyle. This will be a gentle transition and I working WITH my body, not against it.
