Day 55 of 110 | The First 48 lbs.

The first half of the 110 days is TODAY!  Time is moving but the scale... mehhhh.

I am on Day 11 of the 3rd Phase which is focused on Fasting & Healthful Eating.  The first 3 phases were focused on cleansing my system and I have made great progress while I have made many of the same mistakes I've always made but the only real difference between this time and any other time, I never forget the ultimate goal which is FEELING BETTER!

Yes, I do want to get this fat off but the desire to feel better outweighs my weight.  I believe that shedding weight will be the result of me making decisions that will make me feel better on a daily basis.  For example, I have learned that having a salad for breakfast makes me feel AMAZING as opposed to having a muffin and coffee.  Now, do I want a salad for breakfast every day?  No, I really want the muffin and coffee but when I consider the quality of my day when I properly fuel MYSELF I love salad for breakfast days way more than I love coffee & muffin days.

As for weight loss?  Below are my August 2024 numbers. I lost 4 pounds in August.  September I wanted to focus more on how my clothes fit because I was getting too addicted to watching the scale.  The hubby and I also had 2 really good date nights, I will post about that on another day.  I will also post more full-body pics so we can see how things are changing.  

October, I am focusing on both, scale and body composition.  I still need to measure so I can follow how many inches I have lost...  All this shit is like having another job but good health is truly priceless.  My knees and back are thankful for each ounce that is lost!

So, on this first day of October, I will complete a water fast and break that fast at 5 PM with a garden salad.  I will post more pics of the food I have been eating, it has been really good.  Having a husband that can cook doesn't hurt either.
 

RECAP OF THE ACTION PLAN:

  • 1st Phase (22 days) | First phase of detoxing; resetting my system!
  • 2nd Phase (22 days) | The Eliminating Diet; clearing out the toxins!
    • There are 5 organs of elimination: Skin, Lungs, Bowel, Kidney, and Liver.
  • 3rd Phase (22 days: September 21 - October 12) | Fasting & Healthful Eating 
    • Providing the proper nutrients to repair, rebuild, and restructure.
  • 4th Phase (22 days: October 13 - November 3) | Exercise & Calorie Expenditure; use oxygen to burn fat.
  • 5th Phase (22 days: November 4 - November 25) | The Final 22

  1. Watching the scale is bad for me as well. I would rather measure how I feel in clothes. However, the scale helps motivated me. You got this!!
